Mollie Anna King studied for her B.A at Crawford College of Art & Design Cork before completing an M.F.A in Sculpture at the Slade School of Art in 2013. A recipient of the Barto dos Santos Memorial Award and the Land Securities award; a year long studio residency in Bow Arts. She has had solo shows in the The NSF Space, Cork (2015), Black Mariah (2013), Cork and CANAL Gallery in London (2014) with Group Shows in AMP Gallery, London (2017) Wandesford Quay Gallery, Cork (2016) and GL Strand, Copenhagen (2013). Community and facilitation are part of her practice and Mollie has run episodic residencies in her childhood home in Kilcash, County Tipperary, concluded by local exhibitions. King has also worked collaboratively with the artists Patrick White, Niamh Riordan and Assemble Architects and guest artist for The Domestic Godless.
